Operator Terms

The terms that apply to a JobOnRoute operator account.

Draft — not the final agreement. These terms have not been legally reviewed or approved, and are not a binding contract. They describe how the product works today. Final operator terms will replace this page before JobOnRoute is generally available.

Who can hold an operator account

JobOnRoute Operator is for licensed UK private-hire operators. When you register you are asked for your operator licence number, licensing authority and licence expiry date, and our team reviews them before your account is activated.

Creating an account does not by itself grant access. An account stays pending until it has been reviewed, and access can be withdrawn if a licence lapses or is revoked.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for the accuracy of the licence and company information you provide, for keeping it current, and for the security of your account credentials.

You are responsible for the staff accounts you create and the permissions you grant them, and for the jobs and passenger information you enter into the product.

What JobOnRoute is and is not

JobOnRoute is a technology platform. It is not a private hire operator and does not accept bookings from passengers, dispatch vehicles, or employ or engage drivers.

Where you publish work to the marketplace, any arrangement to cover that work is between you and the driver or operator who takes it. JobOnRoute does not guarantee that any job you publish will be covered.

Plans and access

The features available to your account follow the plan on that account. Commercial terms — including pricing — are not set out on this page and are not settled by creating an account.

Suspension and closure

An account may be suspended where a licence is no longer valid, where information provided during review proves to be inaccurate, or where the product is used in breach of these terms.

To close an account, see Delete account.
